Swatches and Review: Sleek Makeup Pout Polish SPF 15

Awhile ago, i was on a look out to find the perfect red lipstick. But i didnt want a red lipstick that wasnt wearable. So i thought starting small, like a tinted lipbalm, would make me feel more comfortable with such a bold colour. Then when i was searching online, i found out about Sleek Makeup's pout polishes. I saw swatches of these and were blown away. I ended up ordering them online soon after.
These pout polishes has decent pigmentation in them, especially the red one. They come in cute plastic tins and contains 10g of product.
They come with a nice range of colours, from nudes to brights and i believe, they just came out with new ones with their new collection. Check out their other colours here.

Although you these look very bright, they can definately be sheered out to make it look even more wearable.
But if you want a nice bright lip like me, you can slap on a couple layers of this product and make it bold. Add on a red lipliner if you want it to last even longer!

Swatches and Review: Victoria Secret Essential Face Kit

I got this a few months back for my birthday from my amazing bestfriends. I was really excited to try it out cause i have never tried any of their products.
The kit comes with 15 products- 8 eyeshadows, 1 eyeliner, 2 lipsticks, 2 lipglosses, 1 blush and 1 bronzer. I must say, this kit is extremely wearable for everyday and is so convinient to carry around.

It comes with a nice range of neutrals and colours for eyeshadows. The blush looks amazing on light to medium skin tones but if you're any darker than that, it might not show that well on the skin. The bronzer, however, looks gorgeous on any skintone. Although it has a bit of a shimmer in it, it gives a nice glow that i really love. I love how it looks on my skin.

The eyeliner isnt that bad either. Sometimes when you get cream eyeliners in palettes, they dont exactly have the greatest pigmentation, but this one is really nice. It takes about two dips to get a nice dark, black line, but it works well.

The lipsticks are fabulous too. My favourite is the deep shimmery red. If you want go with the trends of dark bold lips without going full on with it, this colour is amazing. You can definately layer on more if you want a bolder colour but a light layer of it gives it enough 'boldness' without going too much. The nude colour feels a little sheer to me, but if you layer it on, it looks like a great neutral lip colour. The lipglosses dont really have the greatest of pigmentation, but it gives a nice shine and glossy look.

Overall, im really impressed with the kit. From the soft and pigmented eyeshadows to the amazing looking bronzer to the not-so-bold-but-still-bold lipstick, im a fan!

Haul & Swatches: Sleek Makeup Palette in Oh So Special!

I've had this for a couple of months now, and im just coming around to swatching and debuting it on my blog. I've always wanted to try sleek's eyeshadow palettes but never got around getting it. But when i saw that they just released this new one a couple of months ago, i decided to hunt it down on ebay. I finally got it and im really loving it!
I love the whole black sleek packaging!

Although it comes with a few colours that i dont typically wear, like no. 2 and 5, i thought it'd be nice to have something different and have colours i dont already have. This palette comes with both shimmery and matte colours, great for every occasion! No. 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 are matte and the rest are shimmery.
As you can see, most of the colours are really pigmented especially the shimmery colours. They look amazing! No. 6 doesnt show up that much in the swatch but on the lids, it looks really pretty.

Haul: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Travel Size Set of 5 + Swatches!

Went to Sephora the other day to get my mum a birthday present. But i couldnt resist not getting anything for myself. So i ended up using my $30 sephora voucher that my friends gave me for my birthday. The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Travel Size Set retails for $45 and contains 0.03oz of product each. I used the vouchers, so i only had to top up $15 to get it. What a steal!

The good thing about the set is that you get to try out the different shades of UD 24/7 Liners and try out the product itself before splurging on the full size. The pencils are soft and glides on smoothly.

But i must say, they're so soft that sometimes it doesnt glide on the waterline andlower lashline that well. Takes a couple of tries before the true colour shows. Other than that, i only have good things to say about them. The colours are really pretty too. You can use them as liners to line the eyes or as eye shadow bases. They dont crease and last a long time. When it sets and dries, its smudgeproof and waterproof.
